“MARKET STREET ART” INSTALLATION UNVEILED AT 1735 MARKET STREET

Ten local artists paint murals inside iconic Center City skyscraper, images here

NEW YORK, August, 2023 – Silverstein Properties, a national real estate investment,
development and management firm, and Arden Group, a vertically integrated real estate investment
management firm, today announced the unveiling of a dynamic new mural installation occupying the entire seventh floor of 1735 Market Street, the historic office tower in downtown Philadelphia.

The installation celebrates Philadelphia’s unique history, culture, and diversity with murals created by ten local artists covering the walls, elevator bank, columns and floor. Participating community-based muralists, designers and painters included:

Silverstein Properties has curated engaging public art displays across its office portfolio, working with dozens of talented artists from all over the world to paint murals in and around the World Trade Center in New York City and the newly renovated U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles. This mural program marks the first time Silverstein and Arden Group have brought local art to downtown Philadelphia in the world-class 1735 Market building. The crown jewel of the Philadelphia central business district, 1735 Market Street is one of the premier office buildings in the United States. The 54-story, 1,286,936-square-foot building is widely recognized for its trademark pyramid crowned top and lobby that is accessible from both Market Street and JFK Boulevard.
