The Avenir

Welcome to The Avenir, a $7 billion mixed-use hotel, casino, restaurant, entertainment, and public art complex that will bring transformational benefits to Manhattan’s West Side communities while generating the greatest economic benefit to New York State.

The Avenir will provide thousands of well-paid union jobs and training for local residents; increase security in the neighborhood; drive tourism to local businesses; support the Javits Center next door; and develop thousands of units of much-needed affordable multifamily housing.

The Avenir will include a 1,000-room luxury Hyatt hotel; a world-class casino; over a dozen restaurants and bars, including dining concepts by Danny Meyer and Stephen Starr; and a food hall with favorite local West Side eateries. Additional amenities include a large ground-floor public art gallery for local artists and community use; conference and meeting space; a spa and outdoor skyline pool; and a boutique 150-seat entertainment venue.
