Larry A. SilversteinChairman
Larry A. Silverstein is the Chairman of Silverstein Properties, Inc., a Manhattan-based real estate development and investment firm that has developed, owned and managed 40 million square feet of office, residential, hotel and retail space. The firm currently has $10 billion worth of development activity underway and has been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in New York City” by Crain’s New York Business for the past eight years.
In July 2001, Mr. Silverstein completed the largest real estate transaction in New York history when he signed a 99-year lease on the 10.6 million square feet World Trade Center for $3.25 billion, only to see it destroyed in terrorist attacks six weeks later on September 11, 2001. He has spent the last 14 years rebuilding the office component of the World Trade Center site, a $20 billion project that will consume the balance of his working life.
In May 2006, Silverstein Properties opened 7 World Trade Center, the first office tower to be rebuilt at the site, and the first LEED-certified office building in New York City. The 52-story, 1.7 million square foot office tower is fully leased to an eclectic group of tenants. In November 2013, the company opened 4 World Trade Center, a 72-story 2.3 million square foot building designed by Fumihiko Maki. The company is developing two other office towers on the WTC site – 2 and 3 World Trade Center (that were designed by Bjarke Ingels and Richard Rogers).
Silverstein Properties is currently developing a Four Seasons hotel and private residences designed by Robert A. M. Stern in Lower Manhattan which, at 82-stories, will be one of the tallest residential towers in New York. The company recently completed and opened the largest Four Seasons resort in the world at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Silverstein owns and manages many successful and high-profile commercial and residential properties in New York City, including 120 Broadway, 120 Wall Street, 529 Fifth Avenue and 1177 Avenue of the Americas. Mr. Silverstein recently completed and opened Silver Towers, two 60-story residential towers at 600 West 42nd Street, the companion to 1River Place, a 40-story, 921-unit tower which opened in 2000. The square block development houses over 2,200 families.
Mr. Silverstein is a member of the New York Bar and a Governor of the Real Estate Board of New York, having served as its Chairman. He has served as Chairman of the Realty Foundation of New York.
A 1952 graduate of New York University, Mr. Silverstein served as Vice Chairman of the NYU Board of Trustees, where he continues to serve as member of the Board of Trustees of the New York University Langone Medical Center. He is the Founder and Chairman emeritus of the advisory board of the NYU Real Estate Institute. As a Professor of Real Estate, his “Silverstein Workshop” became one of the most attended and informative educational sources for learning real estate development and investment analysis.
Mr. Silverstein donates his time and resources to support many philanthropic endeavors. He has served as Chairman of the Board of UJA-Federation. He is a founding trustee of the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York and has served as treasurer of National Jewish Health in Denver.
Mr. Silverstein contributes his time and resources to organizations that are dedicated to education and medical research, meeting humanitarian needs and supporting the arts. Mr. Silverstein currently serves as a board member of the New York Philharmonic. He is a classical music enthusiast, a passionate yachtsman and a dedicated New Yorker. Larry and Klara Silverstein have been married for fifty nine years and have three children and one son-in-law, three of whom are executives at Silverstein Properties, and they also have eight grandchildren.
Mickey KuppermanVice Chairman
Mickey Kupperman is Vice Chairman of Silverstein Properties, Inc. He is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company as well as developing a corporate strategy for the future. He still maintains his previous responsibilities as Director of Design for Towers 2, 3 and 4 at the World Trade Center.
Prior to joining Silverstein, Mr. Kupperman was with A. Epstein and Sons, International, Inc., a major international architectural/engineering firm. For the past 20 years he served as CEO of that firm. For the last few decades his special focus was organizational strategy and development as well as the management and organization of complex mega-projects such as the expansion of McCormick Place in Chicago and the United Airlines Terminal at O'Hare.
Mr. Kupperman is a graduate of the University of Illinois where he earned a B.S. and M.S. in Structural Engineering. He is also a graduate of the University of Chicago where he earned an MBA. He lives in New York City with his wife.
Marty BurgerChief Executive Officer
Marty Burger is Chief Executive Officer of Silverstein Properties, Inc. He leads the company’s day to day activities, and focuses on its acquisition, development and financing efforts in the United States and abroad.
Prior to joining Silverstein, Mr. Burger was President and Chief Executive Officer of Artisan Real Estate Ventures, a company he founded in 2006.
Prior to Artisan, Mr. Burger spent 15 years at Related, including serving as President of Related Las Vegas and Executive Vice President of The Related Companies, L.P.
From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Burger was a Vice President at The Blackstone Group working on acquisitions for its first three real estate opportunity funds. From 1993 to 1994, he worked for Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Real Estate funds, also on the acquisition side. Prior to that, Mr. Burger spent five years at The Related Companies where he was a Vice President of Development and Acquisitions.
Mr. Burger received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Trustee and a Governor of the Urban Land Institute, a member of the Executive Committee of the Americas, the former Chairman of his Urban Development Mixed-Use Council nationally, and is the current Chairman of the New York District Council. Mr. Burger is on the Executive Committee of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and is an active member of the Real Estate Roundtable in Washington, DC. Mr. Burger is also on the Directors’ Advisory Council and the New York City Mortgage Committee of the M&T Bank.
Mr. Burger is involved with Habitat for Humanity in Westchester with his sons, helping to create quality housing for those in need. He is a board member of The Catalog for Giving, a charitable organization providing funds to multiple programs benefitting underprivileged inner city children. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Battery Conservancy. In addition, Mr. Burger helps oversee the activities of the Downtown Division of the UJA Federation.
Tal Kerret is President of Silverstein Properties, Inc. He is responsible for managing and monitoring the company’s portfolio of assets, devising strategies for growth and acting as a liaison with investors. Mr. Kerret also oversees some of the day-to-day operations of the company.
Mr. Kerret joined Silverstein Properties in 2011, as Executive Vice President. He launched Silver Suites Offices at 7 World Trade Center, and oversees Silver Suites Residences at Silver Towers. In January 2013, Mr. Kerret was promoted to Chief Investment Officer.
Prior to joining SPI, he was Chairman and Co-Founder of Oberon Media, Inc., the leading casual games platform and solution provider established in 2003.
Prior to co-founding Oberon Media, Mr. Kerret was CEO and co-founder of RichFX, an e-commerce technology infrastructure company, for seven years. Prior to RichFX Mr. Kerret served as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces for six years.
Mr. Kerret holds degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Tel Aviv University.
Janno LieberPresident, WTC Properties
As President of World Trade Center Properties LLC, John ("Janno") Lieber is responsible for managing all aspects of the Silverstein organization's efforts to rebuild at the World Trade Center site. Since joining the Silverstein organization Mr. Lieber has overseen the planning, design and construction issues relating to the World Trade Center office buildings; business, financing and legal matters; and public affairs, government and community relations.
Mr. Lieber previously served as Senior Vice President of Lawrence Ruben Company, where he headed the company's public-private development efforts, and, before that, as an independent consultant specializing in public-private development issues. Among other projects, he helped create the financial and legal structure for the $700 million-plus conversion of the James A. Farley Post Office Building into Moynihan Station, a new terminal for Penn Station. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Lieber served at the U.S. Department of Transportation, first as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy, and later rising to Acting Assistant Secretary.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Lieber practiced law at the New York firm of Patterson, Belknap Webb & Tyler, and served in the office of New York City Mayor Ed Koch and on the staff of The New Republic magazine. Mr. Lieber is a graduate of Harvard University and New York University Law School. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and three children.
Michael L. LevyExecutive Vice President
Michael Levy joined Silverstein Properties, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer in 1997 and currently serves as Executive Vice President. He has vast experience in finance, acquisitions and sales and has closed in excess of $10 billion in transactions.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Levy was a senior tax partner at the accounting firm of Friedman Alpren & Green LLP, where he worked for over 20 years.
He is a member of both the American Institute and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the finance committee of a not-for-profit organization, and has served on various tax committees.
William DacuntoExecutive Vice President
As Executive Vice President of Operations, Bill Dacunto is responsible for managing all the properties in the Silverstein Properties portfolio, including 7 World Trade Center, which opened in 2006 and 4 World Trade Center which opened in 2013. Mr. Dacunto joined the company in 1987.
Mr. Dacunto serves as a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) Management Board of Directors, and was a recipient of REBNY's Corporate Management Executive of the Year Award in 2005, as well as the John M. Griffin Community Service Award in 2015.
He is a founding board member of Donate Eight (a project of, and associated with, LiveOnNY), an organization formed to raise awareness of the immediate need to increase organ donation registration. Mr. Dacunto is also involved in many other charitable activities, including the establishment of blood drive (New York Blood Center) and food collection (City Harvest) programs throughout the Silverstein Properties portfolio. He was a recipient of the Special Award for All Around Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility from City & State Reports in 2015.
Mr. Dacunto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the State University of New York at Brockport, and a Real Property Administrator designation from the Building Owners and Managers Association.
Roger A. SilversteinExecutive Vice President
As Executive Vice President of Leasing, Roger A. Silverstein is responsible for leasing and managing all of the firm's commercial properties, including 7 World Trade Center, 1177 Avenue of the Americas, 120 Broadway, 120 Wall Street and 529 Fifth Avenue.
Mr. Silverstein is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, a director of the Realty Foundation of New York, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Executive Division of the UJA Federation. Mr. Silverstein serves and supports a variety of charitable organizations. He is a member of the Council of National Trustees of the National Jewish Medical Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine, and an executive member of the Food Allergy Initiative of Mt. Sinai Hospital. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Achilles Track Club in New York, an organization established to encourage disabled people to participate in long-distance running.
Mr. Silverstein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Economics from New York University. He is married and has three children. He is an accomplished triathlete and a lifelong New Yorker.
Rob VecslerPresident, Residential Development
Robert Vecsler is President of Residential Development for Silverstein Properties, Inc. (SPI). He works closely with CEO Marty Burger to lead the company’s residential developments as well as its acquisition efforts.
Prior to joining SPI, Mr. Vecsler was CEO of Miami’s Hyperion Group where he developed and completed several successful high rise condominium projects. He has structured acquisitions and closely managed marketing and sales, while overseeing development of those projects. Earlier in his career Mr. Vecsler held positions in New York as Vice President, Investment Banking at JPMorgan, and as an associate at Kelley Drye & Warren.
Lisa H. SilversteinSVP, Residential
Lisa Silverstein is a Senior Vice President of Silverstein Properties, Inc. and oversees the firm's residential real estate portfolio. Ms. Silverstein actively participates in all aspects of residential real estate development from deal evaluation, analysis and pre-development planning to construction, marketing, operations, sales and leasing.
Recent projects include Silver Towers, two 60-story residential towers connected by a six-story base at 600 West 42nd Street, the companion to River Place I, a 40-story, 921-unit tower which opened in 2001. An "80-20" rental project, like its sister building, the 1,359-unit project is one of the city's largest rental buildings and includes a mix of market rate apartments, corporate housing and moderate and low income units. Silver Towers was completed in 2009.
Ms. Silverstein is also developing the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Downtown, a Tribeca property designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects. The project is located at 99 Church Street on a site that was formerly the headquarters of Moody's which sold its building to become Silverstein's biggest tenant at 7 World Trade Center, taking 17 stories, or 680,000 square feet of new office space.
A graduate of NYU, Ms. Silverstein sits on the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York and serves on the Women's Executive Committee at UJA. She is a member of the Board of Trustees at New York University. She lives with her husband and three children in Tribeca.
Leor SiriChief Financial Officer
Leor Siri, CPA is the Chief Financial Officer of Silverstein Properties, Inc (SPI). In this role, he oversees the accounting, tax, treasury and information technology department which supports the company’s various activities.
Prior to joining SPI, Mr. Siri was the CFO of a privately held real estate company whose focus was to own, develop and manage private label hotel brands, residential and mixed use properties. Mr. Siri was responsible for financial related functions which included: accounting and reporting, cash flow management, creating and tracking development and operating budgets and treasury function.
Between 2011 and 2013, Mr. Siri was the CFO and member of the investment committee of Seavest Inc. This company was a real estate management firm which was primarily dedicated to the management of healthcare properties which were owned thru affiliated funds. The company developed, financed and operated real estate across the United States with a portfolio of more than 2.0 million square feet. This role included project related functions such as evaluating investment opportunities, due diligence and negotiating debt transactions.
From 2006 to 2011, Mr. Siri was the Chief Accounting Officer and Director of El Ad Group, Ltd., a real estate company with assets totaling approximately $4.5 billion. Mr. Siri was primarily responsible for overseeing the accounting and tax. At El Ad, he built the accounting and reporting infrastructure through a significant growth period. This included the complex structure and development of the Plaza Hotel located in New York City. Prior to joining El-Ad, Mr. Siri worked for approximately 10 years with Ernst & Young, as a senior manager in the real estate group. His experience included a full range of professional accounting and consulting services for both private and public real estate companies in the tri-state area.
Mr. Siri is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jonathan W. KnipeGeneral Counsel
As General Counsel for Silverstein Properties, Inc., Jon Knipe is the company’s chief legal officer and secretary to the SPI board of directors. Mr. Knipe works with all of the company’s departments on a wide range of matters, including joint ventures, new development projects, financing, leasing, management and acquisitions. In addition, one of Mr. Knipe’s primary responsibilities is managing the legal and business aspects of the projects that SPI is rebuilding at the World Trade Center site.
Prior to joining SPI at the beginning of 2006, Mr. Knipe was General Counsel for Fisher Brothers, a New York City based real estate development, finance and construction company. In addition to leading the legal department at Fisher Brothers, Mr. Knipe handled day to day development, leasing and management matters.
Before Fisher Brothers, Mr. Knipe was a Vice-President at the Related Companies where he was a member of the development team that successfully completed the Time Warner Center on Columbus Circle, the iconic $1.7 billion “mega-project” that includes the world headquarters for Time Warner, Inc.; over 500,000 square feet of high end retail; luxury residential condominiums; a Mandarin Oriental hotel; commercial office space and the performance space for Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Mr. Knipe began his career at Battle Fowler LLP and he continued at Paul Hastings LLP after that firm acquired Battle Fowler. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and the Widener University School of Law.
Mr. Knipe is active in a number of non-profit and educational programs, including serving on the board of trustees of the Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF) and the Penn State Smeal College of Business Real Estate Advisory Board. Jon lives in Lower Manhattan with his wife and two sons.
Jeremy MossExecutive Vice President
Jeremy Moss is Executive Vice President and Director of Leasing for Silverstein Properties. He oversees leasing at 2, 3 and 4 World Trade Center, as well as other commercial buildings in the Silverstein Properties portfolio. Since joining Silverstein in 2008, Jeremy has completed 350,000 square feet of office leases at 7 World Trade Center bringing the building to 100% occupancy.
Prior to joining Silverstein Properties, Jeremy was a Vice President for Commercial Development and Leasing at Forest City Ratner Companies in New York City where he managed the leasing of Forest City's 6 million square foot office portfolio. During his eight years at Forest City, Jeremy worked on 2 million square feet of commercial office leasing transactions and was involved in the development and leasing of 4 office buildings including the New York Times Building.
Prior to joining Forest City, Jeremy was with GRP Capital where he was responsible for the asset management and disposition of Resolution Trust properties and other commercial assets on behalf of the firm's institutional investors.
Jeremy is on the board of Brooklyn Boatworks, a not-for-profit that runs an educational boat building program for public schools. He is also active in a number of organizations including the Real Estate Board of NY, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Central Park Conservancy.
Jeremy received is BA in economics and political science from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Lisa BevacquaSVP, Asset Management
Lisa Bevacqua joined Silverstein Properties, Inc. in 2010 and is Senior Vice President and Director of Asset Management, where she oversees the firm's 10 million square foot portfolio of office and multi-family properties.
Prior to joining SPI, Ms. Bevacqua worked in acquisitions and asset management at Citi Property Investors (CPI), a $600 million real estate opportunity fund. She was responsible for underwriting and conducting due diligence on $1.8 billion of real estate transactions. In addition, Ms. Bevacqua oversaw a portfolio of office, condo and land assets, which included managing partner and third party relationships, establishing and executing business plans and maximizing asset value. Prior to CPI, she was a leasing broker at CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners, where she focused on the downtown Boston office market. Ms. Bevacqua began her career as a consultant at Accenture, where she worked on process and operational improvements within the financial services industry.
Ms. Bevacqua earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude with a BA from Boston College.
Dara McQuillanChief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for World Trade Center Properties, LLC and Silverstein Properties, Inc., Dara manages the public relations, media, advertising, documentary, branding and communications aspects of the Silverstein organization's efforts to rebuild at the World Trade Center site.
Highlights of Dara's work include the building, opening and marketing of 7 WTC - for which his group was awarded a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America; unveiling designs for the iconic Freedom Tower and the towers designed by Pritzker prize-winning architects Norman Foster, Richard Rogers and Fumihiko Maki; Silverstein's successful "two occurrence" insurance litigation; launching several WTC websites; developing a long-term World Trade Center branding, marketing and merchandising strategy; and developing a program to document the rebuilding project through feature films, TV documentaries, books, photographs, artwork and interactive media.
Previously, Dara was the Communications & Media Manager of Shearman & Sterling LLP, a corporate law firm of 1,000 lawyers in 19 cities around the world. Based in New York, he was responsible for devising and managing strategies to maintain and build the firm's reputation, image and visibility. In June 2003, Dara's group was awarded a Silver Anvil from the PRSA for its work on behalf of a Sept. 11 pro bono client of the firm.
Dara began his career as a journalist at Variety and Daily Variety in Los Angeles. He has also worked at Academy Award-winning Merchant Ivory Productions, Robert DeNiro's Tribeca Film Center in New York and at Universal Pictures.
Earlier in his career, Dara worked in the Department of Public Information of the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, and in New York, where he wrote an analytical and historical study of the United Nations library that became an official publication of the UN.
Born in Ireland and raised in Brussels, Belgium, Dara studied at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland where he graduated with a Master's degree in Philosophy. He spent a year as an Erasmus Scholar at the University of Bologna, Italy, where he studied Italian and philosophy under Umberto Eco. Upon graduation, Dara won a Bobby Jones Jr. Graduate Fellowship to UCLA.
Debra HudnellSVP, Human Resources
Debra Hudnell is Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Silverstein Properties, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing talent, performance management, recruitment, culture design and management, professional development, employee engagement, legal compliance, as well as compensation and health/benefits initiatives.
Mrs. Hudnell joined Silverstein Properties in 1981. Since that time, she has played an integral part in the exponential growth of the company. She develops, implements, and oversees Human Resources practices that ensure a balanced program throughout all the company's departments and properties, while maintaining its core values (integrity, respect, and collegiality). Debra’s efforts continue to make Silverstein Properties a career destination for qualified applicants and a sound investment for employees. Under Mrs. Hudnell’s leadership, Silverstein Properties has been named one of the "Best Places to Work in New York City" by Crain's New York Business for the eight years in a row.
Mrs. Hudnell is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE). A native of Brooklyn, New York, Mrs. Hudnell and her husband have been married for 31 years and have two adult children. She has been named among the 25 Influential Black Women in Business in 2016 by The Network Journal, a New York-based monthly African-American business magazine aimed at professionals and business owners.
Sandy JacolowChief Information Officer
Sandy Jacolow joined Silverstein Properties in 2011 as Chief Information Officer, a role in which he oversees the technology initiatives that support the company's financial, operations and development activities.
Mr. Jacolow has been active in the real estate industry for over 30 years with a focus on the institutional advisory, property management and brokerage markets. He also possesses a unique and complementary blend of financial, accounting and technology experience.
Prior to joining Silverstein he served as Executive Director and Head of US Operations responsible for managing existing relationships, driving new business and providing the strategic direction for the North American arm of Calvis, Inc. a global real estate focused consulting firm. Most recently, Mr. Jacolow headed the Real Estate Technology Services for Inetium, a Microsoft Gold partner, where he leveraged his experience in the institutional advisory, and brokerage markets to provide strategic IT consultancy around business and operational improvement.
Prior to Calvis Mr. Jacolow served as Chief Technology Officer at Newmark Knight Frank (formerly Newmark & Company Real Estate) one of the world's largest real estate brokerage firms. He reinvented Newmark's technology landscape deploying an enterprise-wide Storage Area Network traversing a national MPLS backbone and introduced Microsoft's SharePoint to address their data access and collaboration needs.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Jacolow served as senior director and chief technology officer at ING Clarion Partners, a member of ING Real Estate. During his 15-year tenure with Clarion, Mr. Jacolow was responsible for the firm's strategic technology direction. Additionally, for more than 10 years he concurrently managed the firm's Financial Control and Portfolio Accounting department.
During a career which has over 30 years, Mr. Jacolow has been an active member of the real estate community. He has served as chairperson of the Information Management Committee of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCRIEF) and been a voting member of the Real Estate Industry Standards (REIS) Council. Furthermore, he has served as a member of the Senior IT Advisory Council of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM), and was a founding member on the Board of Directors for OSCRE (Open Standards Consortium For Real Estate). Mr. Jacolow brings to the table a unique and complementary blend of financial, accounting and technology experience which he brings to his role as a member of the Realcomm CIO Advisory council and Salesforce Northeast Executive Council.
Shari NatovitzSVP, Risk Management
As Risk Manager for Silverstein Properties and World Trade Center Properties, Shari Natovitz is responsible for providing leadership, direction and creating solutions for the risk management challenges of the WTC development project and the Silverstein portfolio buildings, acquisitions, operations and new construction projects. This includes over 4 Billion in current assets, planned acquisitions of $1 billion per year, and over $8 Billion under construction including three Towers at the World Trade Center site.
In addition to overseeing the risk management program, Shari is actively in national RIMS as a member of the External Affairs Committee (XAC) whose focus is Federal and State legislative efforts that affect the industry and played an active part in the lobbying efforts for both TRIA extensions. This year she joined the Conference Programming Committee, the group responsible for choosing the sessions for the National Conference.
Prior to joining Silverstein Properties in 2005, Ms. Natovitz served as Construction and Risk Finance Leader for USI Insurance Services, the 9th largest broker in the U.S. Prior to that, Ms. Natovitz spent 21 years with Marsh (and predecessor company Johnson & Higgins) as Vice President and Marketing Director, member of the National Strategic Risk Assessment Group and member of the National Wrap-up Task Force. In that role, she had primary responsibility for the brokering and management of such projects as: The Ronald Regan Building, Richmond Convention Center, HQ for the Union of Carpenters and Joiners, EPA Headquarters, Ronald Reagan and Dulles Airports, Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Plant and Rocky Flat Environmental Site. She has also spent time as an independent consultant and was principal author of a major white paper on Wrap-ups for the Department of Transportation.
Ms. Natovitz has developed and led a variety of seminars on Wrap-up programs and has been a panelist and speaker for the Institutional Investor and St. John's College of Risk Management. She serves on the Construction Council along with other national construction firms and was recently appointed to the Willis Global Client Advisory Council. Richard Vogel joined Silverstein Properties, Inc. in 2013 and is Senior Vice President responsible for the company’s international strategy and operations. A 30-year real estate industry veteran, Mr. Vogel has an extensive record of undertaking complex real estate transactions and creating value across a broad range of real estate asset classes and markets, including the US, Middle East, and Asia. Prior to joining SPI, Mr. Vogel was the Senior Vice President, China for Ivanhoe Cambridge and Vice President for Hines.
Mr. Vogel received his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from the Pennsylvania State University, completed post graduate studies in economics and finance at the University of California, Berkeley, completed the Executive Development Program at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and he is currently earning his EMBA at the University of Southern California. Mariana Vredjian is Senior Vice President and Director of Leasing for the company’s residential rental portfolio which includes Silver Towers, River Place and Silver Suites Residences at Silver Towers. Ms. Vredjian is a NYS licensed real estate broker with over twenty years of experience in the residential real estate industry.
Prior to joining Silverstein Properties in 2011, Ms. Vredjian was the Director of Leasing at Solow Realty & Development Company where she managed the leasing of Solow Realty’s seven residential luxury properties on the Upper East Side. Prior to joining Solow Realty & Development Company, Ms. Vredjian was an Associate Broker with Halstead Property and Feathered Nest where she was responsible for the leasing of Post Towers, a residential building in Downtown Manhattan. She started her real estate career with a boutique real estate operator leasing, selling and managing properties on behalf of owners in the outer boroughs of Manhattan
Ms. Vredjian actively supports a variety of charitable organizations including St. Jude, American Cancer Society and ASPCA.
Ms. Vredjian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from St. John’s University.
