One River Place

The Neighborhood

One River Place is steps from the Hudson River esplanade and its opportunities for strolling, jogging, roller blading and bicycling.  With all of the amenities of a vacation oasis, and entertainment, dining and work all within easy reach, River Place is an incomparable destination location.

Located near the vibrant Times Square/Theatre district of Manhattan, One River Place offers residents the convenience of many restaurants and stores within a few blocks of the building. It is minutes away from The Jacob Javits Center, and Herald Square shopping. In addition several major subways lines are situated two blocks from the apartment, as well as the cross-town bus to the East Side.

In recent years, the neighborhood, which extends from West 34th Street to 57th Street west of Eighth Avenue to the Hudson River, began to see a transformation from industrial to residential. The area continues to buzz with new construction - luxury condominiums, hotels and rental buildings - to meet the market's demands.

In 2008, California-based Lucky Strike Entertainment opened a new, upscale bowling lounge in the ground floor retail space at One River Place.  Deemed "America's first true bowling lounge," Lucky Strike Lanes started in Hollywood, California and has since grown to 15 locations across the United States. Occupying over 30,000 square feet, the New York destination features stylish bowling lanes, gourmet dining and signature cocktails.
