The Neighborhood

Downtown Manhattan

Downtown New York - birthplace of New York City and the nation - is one of the most historic and intriguing neighborhoods in the United States. 120 Wall Street can be called the "strategic heart and soul" at the very center of the downtown business district. Framed by the World Financial Center, Federal Reserve, Wall Street and the world's major financial institutions, 120 Wall Street offers the most central access to the financial district and thriving Downtown neighborhood. In addition, 120 Wall Street is convenient to a full range of amenities, including sophisticated hotels and chic restaurants of trendy Tribeca.

Getting Around

Downtown Manhattan is the most accessible neighborhood in New York City, with an extensive public transportation network. It's easy to get here from every borough as well as from the surrounding region.

There are 14 subway lines (A, C, E, J, M, Z, R, W, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), eight local and 25 express bus routes, mulitple ferry routes and PATH train service to New Jersey.

The district is also accessible by car through a network of highways, bridges, and tunnels. The Brooklyn-Battery tunnel and the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges connect Lower Manhattan with Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island; the Holland Tunnel, directly north of our district, connects Downtown Manhattan to New Jersey. Two major highways serve the area: the FDR Drive on the east side and Route 9A/West Side Highway on the west.
