Despite the difficult economy, Silverstein Properties is one of the few developers that has kept busy, and one huge project has particular resonance with employees: helping to rebuild the World Trade Center site. This effort, as well as the developer's construction of a new residential tower on Manhattan's West Side last year and its global projects in far-flung places such as Warsaw and Chongqing, China, infuses the firm with a vibrant and stimulating work environment.
